Chateau Pomys (2012) 750 ML

Producer Notes: Back in the XVIII century, Château Pomys was one of the most important properties in St-Estèphe, belonging successively to great families such as the d’Estournel, Martin, Errazu, Hosteins heirs to Charmolüe then Pullum, who sold to the Arnaud family. As a consequence to this series of sales, this great domain was parcelled till its smallest size in 1951 when the Arnaud family acquired the stamp, part of the buildings and what remained of the vineyards. From 1988 to 1991, the family bought the castle and its outbuildings which were gradually restored as a four star hotel and cellars, offices and reception hall as well as a gourmet restaurant. The vineyard is composed of 12 hectares gathered around the following places: Pomys, Marbuzet, La Pezeille, all with an exceptional terroir of deep clay and gravel.
