A crisp and minerally red, with concentrated flavors of dark cherry & roasted plum, layered with rich, spicy notes. 40% Alfrocheiro 40% Tinta Roriz 20% Touriga Nacional aged 6 months in French oak. The still red wines of Portugal have finally gotten notice in the USA. Using the grapes of their famous Porto, these dry wines have a well-structured, muscular texture, with a touch of Asian spice to the wild plum and dried raspberry flavors. Beef and mineral notes mark the finish, very sauvage.
