Producer's Notes: This golden yellow wine has exceptional clarity and remarkable presence; its appearance is the first pleasure that the wine offers... followed by a nose with subtle nuances of acacia honey and bitter almonds. But that’s not all. Although initially constrained by the bottle, allowing it breathe will do it some good, revealing notes of star anise and toasted flavours. The palate immediately expresses true power, full-bodied flavour, sweetness and a certain complexity that is also a bit constrained; let the wine breath, and swirl it to open it up; a touch of basil is noted, adding finesse to this rich and harmonious palate. The Chateauneuf du Pape white wines are classified among the great white wines of France!
