Producer's Notes: Vibrant ruby red, intensely redolent of cherries, violet and hints of aromatic herbs and spices, with well-rounded tannins and a long-lasting finish on the palate. Excellently suited to all variations of pasta and meat dishes. Casanuova di Nittardi, the Chianti Classico of Fattoria Nittardi, grows at an altitude of almost 1,650 ft. in the golden triangle between San Donato, Panzano and Castellina in Chianti. In addition to the traditional label, every year a limited amount of bottles are adorned with a label created by a renowned artist and wrapped in special silk-paper, also work of the artist. The 31th artist label was created by the artist Kim Tschang Yeul.
