Foursquare Rum Distillery Exceptional Cask Select Vintage Single Blended Barbados (2007)

Distillery Notes: The Cask Strength exits the ex-bourbon barrels at 59% ABV after a twelve year tropical ageing process. Richard Seale, our master distiller, is insistent that rums should be made without adding flavours or being flagrant with age statements, and the Cask strength represents the pinnacle of this ethos. Despite the 59% ABV the Cask Strength is surprisingly sweet and light on the palate, a testament to the column still originated alcohols. Best enjoyed straight up on the rocks and in sensible quantities!
