Haig "The Dimple" Pinch 15 Year Blended Scotch Whisky 750 ML

Dimple are the upmarket brothers of Haig Gold blended whisky but with an age statement of 15 years and a heavier malt influence of whiskies from Glenkinchie and Linkwood. Haig Pinch was a Haig Whisky product for the American market and was bottled at the slightly higher strength of 43% ABV. Nose: Caramel and burnt oak Try a splash of water to develop the nose. Taste: This is a real man’s whiskey which despite a 15 year age statement can assault the taste buds with a 43% alcohol burn at first. However it quickly settles down to a warm, smooth caramel malty smoothness tinged with oak that will leave you wanting more. Finish: Short Earthy finish with strong hints of peat, burnt caramel and a touch of sea salt.
