Highland Park Single Malt Scotch Whisky Cask Strength 63.9% 750 ML

Highland Park Cask Strength is released in annual batches, each of which shares the same underlying character but with nuanced flavors based on the specific cask make-up. Master Whiskey Maker, Gordon Motion, selected a majority of sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, and a small quantity of ex-bourbon casks leaving a taste profile with nuanced pear, almond cake, toasted oak, licorice and cracked black pepper. This single malt is not chill-filtered to maximize the flavors, textures and natural haze that would normally be stripped away by finer filtration. The whisky has only been gently filtered to remove pieces of char and other debris from the casks. Cask Strength No. 1 release won Double Gold in the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Challenge and scored a 95 in the 2021 Ultimate Spirits Challenge.
