Producer's Notes: The barley in our Malt Whiskey was literally kept from extinction. While commercial farmers found it too low yield, Wayne Cody found its unstripped flavor too glorious to let go. Today, his sons, in a field alongside Henry Road, continue to grow, as well as malt, this barley for us. Nose: Apple blossom, honey and toasted oats Palate: Green apple, sugar cookie, seagrass and sweet tobacco 100% heirloom malted barley aged over 4 years in new 53-gallon charred oak barrels.
