Louis Roederer Cristal Brut Millesime (2008) 750 ML

Often referred to as the “Tsar’s Wine,” Louis Roederer’s most famous Champagne was created in 1876. This was to satisfy the demanding tastes of Tsar Alexander II. The emperor had requested that Roederer reserve the House’s best cuvée for him every year. In order to distinguish it, this exquisite Champagne would come in a flat-bottomed, transparent lead crystal bottle; thus, the brand name Cristal came to be. Aged for 6 years in Roederer’s cellars, it is astonishingly well-balanced and can be preserved for over twenty years without losing a touch of its remarkable freshness. 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay
