Producer's Notes: Discovering a very old Tawny and its unique aromas. The remarkable quintessence of Noval Tawny style, a profoundly concentrated and complex old wine, the memory of the house… The initial red fruit colours have now faded away to be replaced by a rich dark brown hue with wonderful green and yellow hints around the edges, characteristic of very old wood-aged Ports. Yet the wine still retains a wonderful freshness and balance. Noval 40 year old Tawny is a blend of old Ports from different vintages, with an average age of 40 years and that have matured in oak casks.
