Description

An insanely rare, miraculously intact bottle of Prohibition Whiskey made by iconic distiller Albert Blanton. Stored in our cellar for over 90 years, this bottle of Four Roses Prohibition Bourbon in its original tamper-proof container with little to no oxidation to the tin with the pristine colorful graphic design on the exterior! Made by iconic distiller Albert Blanton, whose career started at the age of 16 as an office boy at the George T Stagg Distillery. Blanton went on to eventually become President of the distillery. Along the way he worked every aspect of the business and showed great aptitude. He was made President in 1921, the very beginning of Prohibition and the beginning of the end for most distilleries. But not the end for Albert Blanton or the Stagg Distillery. Blanton refused to give up, securing a government contract to produce medicinal whiskey, and the distillery thrived. It is because of his leadership and vision and his significant positive impact on the industry that the finest Single Barrel Bourbon is named to honor Albert Blanton. This item has been in the House of Glunz cellar for over 90 years.
