Crafted from older heritage sugarcane varieties, the smooth yet crisp Tanduay Silver Asian Rum features scents of cane and subtle peppermint with a creamy butter inflection. On the balanced palate, a honeyed soft coconut opening leads to buttery wood, with a nice long warm, dry peppery finish. Volcanic soils and the tropical climate make the Philippines ideal for both growing cane and aging rum. Tanduay has been perfecting their art of producing consistent, quality cane spirits since 1854. Tanduay uses an older heritage variety of sugar cane and ages its white rum in used barrels for up to 5 years.
